Welcome to Montana

Montana Aged Care Home is in the heart of Mosman, one of Sydney’s most prestigious lower north shore suburbs.

The suburb is famous for attractions such as Balmoral Beach, Taronga Zoo and the plentiful scenic coastal walks that connect you to many harbour beaches, including Chowder Bay and Chinaman’s beach.

This 64 bed home was purpose built with 54 single rooms and four two bed companion or couple rooms on the ground and first floor level.

Montana is arranged over three storeys with a commercial kitchen, laundry and staff amenities; it has dementia specific rooms on the ground floor for resident safety and your piece of mind.

Fully air conditioned and heated, Montana also features a secure central courtyard and gardens for residents to enjoy. It also features a hairdressing salon, quiet room and a large activities room.

Montana is centrally located and is a two minute walk from retail shops and public transport, a leisurely 200 metre stroll from the south of Military Road and is walking distance to a host of amenities including the Mosman Library and Alan Border Oval Memorial Park.

We invite you to come for a tour and make Montana your home.

Staying active and socialising is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Our activity program changes each month, but will always include bus trips and outings, arts and crafts, movie days and theme days. We have a number of volunteers supporting our home and have regular musical performances, fetes, raffles and visits from school groups.

Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time and can catch up over a cup of tea in one of our comfortable lounges or peaceful gardens. There are also local cafes, shops and parks nearby that are ideal for outings.

Your room will be furnished for you, but we encourage you to bring personal belongings such as photographs and soft furnishings to help you feel at home.
